Calling All Radio Operators, Weather Enthusiasts, and Public Safety Volunteers!

Are you located along the I-20 corridor between East Texas and Western Mississippi? We are officially launching a massive recruitment drive to build the most resilient, real-time emergency communication network in the region—and we want YOU on the front lines.
As we prepare for the 2026 storm and hurricane season, Managed Radio Emergency Services (MRES) is mobilizing a specialized team of volunteer spotters. We are seeking dedicated individuals—especially FCC-licensed Amateur Radio Operators—to help us bridge the gap in emergency communications when traditional systems are at their limit.
Why We Need You Now
We are currently soliciting applicants to establish a vital "head count" for the 2026 season. By joining now, you help us:
Provision Equipment: Accurate numbers help us secure the necessary radio hardware and network resources.
Map Our Coverage: We need to show non-profit organizations and area businesses (such as utilities and emergency services) exactly where our "boots on the ground" are located.
Strengthen Public Safety: Your reports provide the ground-truth data that meteorologists and local authorities rely on to save lives.
Be the Eyes and Ears of Your Community
This is your chance to turn your passion for weather and radio into a high-impact service. Whether you are a seasoned HAM with ARES experience or a weather watcher looking to step up, Managed Radio Services (MRS) provides the structured communications platform needed to ensure your reports get through when they matter most.
Join the Mission Today!
Membership in the MRES network is completely FREE. Help us build a "wall of watchers" along I-20 to protect our neighbors and support our local responders.
